Jack White covered Nirvana’s ‘Heart Shaped Box’ on tour over the weekend.

The American guitarist released two albums in 2022, notching up Rough Trade’s Album Of The Year in the process. His Supply Chain Issues Tour is winding its way across the globe, with the UK leg earning breathless reviews.

Touching down in Malaysia, Jack White played the 2,500-capacity Zepp Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday evening (November 16th).

The show proved to contain a few surprises, with Jack White continually overhauling the set. Malaysian fans were treated to a special cover, a slowed down, ultra-bluesy take on Nirvana’s 1993 classic ‘Heart Shaped Box’.

Check out some fan-shot footage below.

Jack White’s Supply Chain Issues tour comes to a close at the end of the year, with the guitarist set to star in Martin Scorcese directed film Killers of the Flower Moon, alongside Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio. The film focusses on the murders of the native Osage people in 1920s Oklahoma, where oil deposits were discovered; it’s far from Jack White’s first film role, as he also starred in the likes of Civil War era epic Cold Mountain, and the spoof Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story.
