Brighton based experimentalists Phoria return with beautiful piece ‘New Beginning’.
The band are moving towards their third album, with ‘River Oblivion’ due to be released on April 21st. Building on the critical success of their opening two statements, the project takes the south coast collective into new pastures.
Out now, new single ‘New Beginning’ has a beatific air, its glacial approach to aesthetic evolution recalling a more spartan Sigur Ros. Held together by a commitment to melody, ‘New Beginning’ takes on the air of sunrise, watching another day gradually come into being.
“’New Beginning’ is an instrumental introduction to a new phase. Laying a fresh foundation before the new songs follow, it’s an expression of total freedom and rising to limitless heights. Phoria feels like a free entity now, unbound by genre or perceived expectations. I hope people are ready for the sounds we’re about to make. We are certainly very excited to make them.”
Tune in now.
