Liam Gallagher has shared the moving new video for ‘Too Good For Giving Up’.

The song is a true centrepiece on his recent No. 1 album, and has become a key element of his potent live shows. Fresh from a historic weekend in Knebworth, Liam Gallagher drops the bombast a little for this moving new video.

Out now, the song deals with those darker moments, when it feels as though life is simply overwhelming. ‘Too Good For Giving Up’ finds Liam singing: “Remember you belong here as much as anyone / Even when you’re just about to break.”

David Jonsson stars in the video, which was built in collaboration with men’s mental health charity Talk Club. The actor carries a doppelgänger, his burden becoming all too clear – even the simplest of tasks are rendered impossible, a metaphor for mental health issues.

Liam comments: “We all know someone affected by suicide which sadly seems to be at an all-time high. I’ve lost many people far too early and it’s important to talk. I’m really pleased to be able to help in anyway with this song and will be partnering with Talk Club on my track ‘Too Good For Giving Up’ LG x.”

Talk Club co-founders Ben Akers and Gavin Thorpe add: “Suicide is the biggest killer of men under 50. And Liam is a hero to many of that generation. So to be collaborating with him on something that raises the awareness of Talk Club, and gets men talking and improving their mental fitness, will save lives.”

Out now, the video is followed by further action from Liam – he’ll donate all proceeds from the show over a six month period to Talk Club, and will further support the campaign by taking hold of their Twitter account this Thursday (October 13th) between 11am – noon to discuss mental health issues.
